Our super cozy, luxurious house is about 1.5 hours away from the airport (Rocky View County, AB). Once we arrive, you’ll have time to settle in, unpack, and explore our cozy accommodation.
The evening will close with chai, snacks, games, and an intention-setting circle - the perfect way to connect with your new sisters and set the tone for the transformative retreat.
We start the day with breakfast at the house and Islamic Jeopardy before heading out to Jummah prayer and starting our day.
We will be praying jummah at the Bow Valley Muslim Association Center followed by a reflection circle to pause, connect spiritually and share reflections together.
After that, we will stroll along Banff Avenue, popping into charming shops, cozy cafés, and soaking in views that somehow never get old. We’ll visit iconic nearby spots including Bow Falls and Surprise Corner, with plenty of time for photos against dramatic mountain backdrops.
Lunch will be in Banff, followed by free time, giving you the option to explore on your own or in small groups.
In the evening, we return home for dinner at the house, followed by a guided visualization exercise by a licensed coach and therapist and late night conversations over chai.
After an early breakfast, we depart for two of the most breathtaking places in the Rockies.
Starting at Moraine Lake, you'll have time to take in the iconic viewpoint, capturing group photos, and allowing space for reflection. From there, we continue to Lake Louise to enjoy a scenic walk and quiet reflection time by the water, surrounded by towering peaks and stillness.
We’ll enjoy a picnic-style lunch and pray Dhuhr outdoors (weather permitting), grounding ourselves in gratitude amid creation followed by a Tasbih making workshop to let our creativity flow in nature.
In the afternoon, we return to the house for rest and downtime — nap, journal, or simply be.
The evening includes dinner, followed by Dua Workshop (Part 1) — a reflective, heart-centered session designed to deepen your connection with yourself, Allah, and dua rooted in the Quran and Sunnah.
After breakfast, we continue with the Dua Workshop (Part 2), building on the reflections from the night before.
We then head over to the Banff Gondola (additional cost), taking in panoramic mountain views from the summit. This is a moment to pause, reflect, and truly take it all in from above.
In the afternoon, we embark on a scenic drive along the Icefields Parkway, one of the most beautiful roads in the world, with stops at Bow Lake and Peyto Lake (if accessible). Lunch will be packed and enjoyed en route, surrounded by unreal scenery.
We return in the late afternoon for free time — pack, rest, or enjoy your final quiet moments in the mountains.
In the evening, we gather for a farewell dinner, closing reflections, and one last game night — ending the retreat with connection, gratitude, and joy.
After breakfast, we’ll check out and head back together with a group transfer to Calgary Airport. Please ensure that your return flight does not depart before 12:30pm local time.
You will leave not just with memories but with new sisters and a renewed sense of self. We can’t wait to welcome you.
